I love this piece. Just as Pirsig's book wasn't about motorcycles, really, neither is your writing here. Rather, you've transcended the mundane, and brought me to a place of contemplating the Zen relationship among all life, and in all the ways in which we view, and interact with, Art. Lovely and thank you!

Thanks so much! Michael and I have had more than one conversation about it, so the thoughts flowed rather smoothly onto the page (screen?). Here's to Finding your Flow!

Great article. So true: your whole being gets feedback from the vehicle as you turn in, apex, and turn out repetitively.

I’m really pleased to see all the successes you’re enjoying.

My very best to you and Michael.

Love this!!! I bet you could paint(in your vibrant colorful way) bike racers..starting with your hubs, sell the paintings at the races!!! A very special crowd!! Just a thought...I know the paintings would be a representation of all the feels of the race!! Love you!

What a great idea. I always bring a bag of art supplies when I go to the track with him, maybe I can do some plein air!. There are a lot of hours to fill. I tell him racing is like a microcosm of life: Long periods of boredom punctuated by brief moments of excitement. I think I'm soooo funny. And I love you too!
